Hey there, I’m Jessica and welcome to my little space where I’ll be sharing all the things. I’m a health nut who loves to spend most of my time teaching others how to move better in their bodies and chat about the latest things I’ve learned about nutrition. When I’m not at Vessel Pilates, you can find me at home with my husband and three littles, usually playing with our two pups or having a family movie night complete with lots of homemade popcorn and “fizzy water,” aka Topo Chico.
Most of my days consist of entertaining kids, juggling a small business with home life, squeezing in movement time for myself, meetings, and finally ending the days with some quality husband time. Even though the days can be quite hectic, it has been an adventure I look forward to every morning when I wake up.
Since I can remember, I have always been a product junkie who loves trying new things and seeing what works best for my skin type. Just ask my mom how many different bottles of shampoo and conditioner she would find under our bathroom sink. Oops!
I’m insanely passionate about nutrition and movement, teaching others how to make healthier choices, educating them on all the wellness things I’ve learned throughout my own journey. I’m a huge advocate for other moms to really invest in themselves, their self-care, and filling their vessels in ways that bring them true joy. As a mom to three tiny humans, an entrepreneur, and someone who still loves to enjoy life to the fullest, sometimes taking care of myself isn’t as easy as I’d like to think. But finding just 10 minutes a day truly transforms my mindset and shifts my state to a more positive one.
I love to create, whether that is through designing my class repertoire for my clients, painting, picking up my camera and getting lost in the beauty of photography, designing marketing material for my studio, pulling outfits together, coloring with my children, or testing out a new recipe I’m tweaking to fit my nutritional needs. I just love being creative and letting my mind do it’s thing. With my type A “list making” personality, this is how I allow myself to play and let go of perfection.
In the past few months I’ve learned letting go of control can often times be freeing. Allowing myself a good dance party in the kitchen with my kids can turn my day right-side up and lift the weight off my shoulders when things are stressful. Because let’s be honest here…. being a working mom can be overwhelming.
I hope with this space I can share my journey through the ups and downs, dream a little, and inspire others to know they are not alone in this world. Thank you so much for following along and sharing in these moments. Let’s journey together!
